There were once many summer homes at Elkmont,  now very few remain.	Snow comes early in the highest elevations, this is an October photo along the Appalachian Trail.

This lovely church, a favorite of mine, is near Cashiers, North Carolina.	Bryson City, North Carolina, on a rainy October afternoon.
